One of the projects of the then influential record producer Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser for his cosmic utopia was to invite the Swiss New Age guru Sergius Golowin to record an album with him. As an author and mythologist, he was to talk about Krishna as the bearer of the infinite consciousness of the universe. He was assisted musically by experienced musicians from the Krautrock scene such as Klaus Schulze (drums, organ, guitar, mellotron) ex Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, the two former Wallenstein members Jerry Berkers (g, b, bo, choir) and Jürgen Dollase (p, mell, vib, trgl, g), as well as Walter Westrupp (g, fl, har, perc) and Bernd Witthüser (g), known as the folk duo Witthüser & Westrupp. The album was recorded in 1973 at Dierks Studios in Cologne/Stommeln, produced by Kaiser himself, and was released on the German market in the same year as the second release on his new label Die Kosmischen Kuriere.
The three tracks on the first and only LP are characterised by improvised psychedelic, floating electronic and calm meditative sounds. In addition, the esoteric Swiss writer recites a series of devotional monologues that at times sound like Hindu prayers. The acoustic components such as flute, bongos and guitars also give the album a timeless and exotic touch. This unique album, with its combination of acid, music and spirituality on the rare original label, is in demand worldwide and expensive.
