This outstanding and unique UK progressive highlight was led and dominated by lead singer Norman Haines on omnipresent Hammond, Mellotron, harpsichord and piano. Locomotive recorded their sole album in 1969, which was released by EMI Parlophone. Together with Mick Hincks (b, voc), Bob Lamb (dr), Mike Taylor (tr) and the all star guest musicians Lyn Dobson (sax), Dick Heckstall-Smith (sax), Henry Lowther (tr), Bill Madge (sax), Chris Mercer (sax) and Chris Wood (fl) they played a mix of psychedelic, jazz and early progressive rock with no guitars at all. But in this fast changing times, at the time of it's release in 1970, it was no longer representative of their sound. Despite full of ideas and varieties it sounded dated. Norman Haines quit the band and released his next album Den Of Iniquity with his Norman Haines Band.
We Are Everything You See is now regarded as the best psychedelic/rock/jazz album ever released by an English band. UK originals are therefore highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
