Second and last album by the London band Killing Floor, which enjoys cult status, especially among fans of British blues rock with progressive influences. It was recorded in 1970 for the British independent record label Penny Farthing, which was run by Larry Page, who also produced it. It shows an alternating sound between heavy power chords and weird post-60s freakbeat. As the single release „Call For the Politicians“ also sold well in Germany, the album was even released there. But that, as well as the remarkable cover design by Rick Breach, didn't help, the album sold poorly and the band broke up soon afterwards.
Heavy in demand, the UK original is an expensive purchase these days.
