One year after the release of their debut album Gift and numerous concerts in Germany, lead singer Helmut Treichel and the second guitarist alongside Rainer Baur, Nick Woodland, left the band in 1973. Dieter Atterer joined as the new singer and guitarist and with Dieter Frei on keyboards, the sound was expanded considerably. Their guitar-heavy hard rock of the two lead guitars became significantly more progressive with the heavy organ and the Mellotron, which often plays flute-like passages. The recordings for their second LP Blue Apple took place in Hamburg at the record company's own Teldec Studios in 1974 with the assistance of producer Otto B. Hartmann. Released in the same year by Teldec subsidiary Nova, the album received little attention and the band split up.
Like their debut LP, the second and final album was only released in Germany and both are now sought-after and expensive collector's items.
