Christmas was a Canadian psychedelic group from Oshawa, Ontario, formed in 1969 by guitarist and singer Bob Bryden. Their first self-titled album shows three short, demo-like pop songs followed by two lengthy psychedelic rock jams in Quicksilver Messenger vein. It was recorded while the band was amusing themselves in the studio and allegedly issued without the band's knowledge.
No airplay outside Toronto, not to mention unfortunately being misfiled in shops in the other Xmas section, this album sank without a trace. Now it is phenomenally rare and among the top 5 most rare psych records out of Canada!
