It was very ambitious to start with a double LP as a debut. But US singer and guitarist Bob Smith had a team of experienced musicians at his disposal, which promised a professional and successful production. Among those involved were the psychedelic rockers from the band Truth, Don Preston from the Mothers of Invention and Captain (& Tenille) Daryl Dragon. The four-month recordings for this obscure and almost completely unknown double album were released in November 1970 by the Los Angeles-based Kent label. The core of the music is quite typical heavy psychedelic rock of the late 60s and early 70s, enriched with experimental improvisation and accompanied by all kinds of sound effects.
The album sold next to nothing, as no distributor could be found at first and was only really available almost two years later at the end of 1972. The double LP is held in high esteem by collectors of obscure psychedelia. Due to the small print run, it is expensive and very hard to find these days, especially with the poster.
