German Bonds (also known as Bokaj Retsiem) became Electric Food (plus various side projects), and Electric Food formed Asterix. The short-lived formation from Hamburg consisted of Peter Hecht (keyboards), Peter Hesslein (guitar), Dieter Horns (bass), Joachim Rietenbach (drums) and George Monro (vocals), which was joined by singer John Lawton (from Uriah Heep). Monro dropped out and was replaced by American Toni Cavanaugh (vocals). Their eponymous and only album, released in 1970 on Decca, features stylishly arranged progressive hard rock with occasional melodic influences from the 1960s. After this album, Asterix became the successful hard rock and prog rock band Lucifer's Friend. This fact is probably the reason why the Asterix album, which was released in a small edition, is now a sought-after rarity.
