The five-piece act Arcadium were an obscure band from the UK. Their lone album Breathe Awhile was released on the even more obscure label Middle Earth Records in 1969. Led by the multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and composer Miguel Sergides, they played an innovative mixture of proto-prog and hard-rock.
Sadly, the music-buying public weren't quite ready for this uncompromising psychedelia, even in the era of LSD and Timothy Leary. So the LP sold poorly and sank without a trace that consigned the group into oblivion. Now a mega rare item on many collector want-lists.
