In the early 70s, the quintet recorded 9.30 Fly an eponymous folk-rock album with a psychedelic and progressive touch on the little UK label Ember. All the songs are dominated from the harmony of the voices of Michael and his wife Barbara Wainwright.
So this record on the highly collectable Ember label is nowadays a difficult to find rarity. In November 18, 1972 the group act together with Velvet Underground in Malver Winter Gardens. Shortly after this gig the Fly vanished without any trace.
