Jo Sago was the second and final LP by the UK trio from Birmingham with James Langston (voc, g, perc), Jeff Daw (g, fl, b, perc) and multi-instrumentalist Bob Wilson (p, keyb, g, b, perc). The concept album was released on the legendary Harvest label in November 1970 and contains a spoken narrative, accompanied by prog rock, as the story of a fictional character from the West Indies. It is just as unconventional and experimental as its predecessor which also failed commercially, despite hymns of praise in the underground press. The band therefore broke up at the end of 1971.
This is one of the most obscure rock albums, and as an original Harvest LP it is a real rarity today, trading for considerable sums.
